We toured both islands by campervan, stopping at Lake Wanaka, Hobbiton —a Lord of the Rings set— and the Coromandel Peninsula, where The Chronicles of Narnia was filmed. October is spring: bright green fields, snow-capped peaks, gardens in bloom and changeable weather. The video includes drone footage.
