When we went: September 2017
One single trip through South Africa and Namibia, in one video. In South Africa we swam with the great white shark, from inside a cage. In Namibia we found the desert, safari in the Namib-Naukluft and Etosha parks, the Himba and San peoples, and flights over the desert in a light aircraft. September is the end of the southern winter and the dry season: cool seas and a good season to find great whites off the coast; inland, clear skies, warm days, cool nights and animals gathering around waterholes.
